Dave, Catherine and Wally welcome you, your children, family and pets to the Junction Inn, Groombridge. This historic building houses a tea room as well as a great pub, with real ales, quality wines, homemade fresh pub fare and an inviting atmosphere. In the winter why not warm those toes in front of our open fire, and in the summer have a bask with a glass of something chilled in our child, pet and people friendly beer garden, complete with suntraps, climbing frame, chirping birds and Petanque Piste.
The Tea Room serves a mouthwatering selection of cakes and quite stunning scones all made with love and enthusiasm by our baker extraordinaire, Lorraine. Elegant bone china and cheerful decor make it the ideal place to relax and unwind with a Cream Tea, High Tea, or a plate of something scrumptious and a steaming cup of something restorative.

Welcome Back Petanque Team!!
We are delighted to announce that the Petanque team is returning to The Junction Inn! As of next season, they will be playing two-three times a week and are always looking for new members. Petanque (or French Boules, as it is often called) is a sport of rapidly increasing popularoty involving skill, social skills and the ability to hold a heavy ball and a glass of something refreshing simultaneously...
